I think that there should be a call for men to be more active in the protection of our women as they are reflected in much of the Hiphop of today. I was raised mostly by my mom and there in no individual under God that I hold in higher esteem and reguard. Women or the glue that holds things together as men she should protect them on all fronts - even when they don't know they are under attack. I moved away from alot of today's hiphop because of how women and sex is potrayed. I do older hiphop and neosoul now more than anything current. We need to have some wording that calls for the hetero men to take up action in the womens movement to help reclaim the honor that the is slowely being chipped away by what I call "the dark side of hip hop"

Regarding the womanism agenda.

I think its necessary, yes it should be updated.
There are the Womanist fonteirs that should be asked to discuss the movement and why it is so important

One good speaker would be Sanovia Muhammad, of the New Afrikan Womanist Task Force. She has been keeping the flame alive.
